Recognizing that, during this time in our nation’s history, homeowners-particularly those living in rural areas-needed an energy source that would satisfy their multiple energy needs while being convenient, clean-burning, and reliable. Charlie worked in other capacities in the propane industry later. In 1985 Charlie’s vision of being an independent marketer was realized, and Franklin Propane Gas was formed with the goal of providing even more personalized service to customers in our area.

With this change, the second generation of our family was able to continue our father’s dream of providing excellent customer service while ensuring the propane customer has an energy source that is clean, efficient, and reliable. As the third generation now continues the legacy that began nearly 80 years ago, we, along with our dedicated employees, are committed to giving you service that is second to none. Our goal now is the same as it’s always been: to provide all our customers-residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial, convenient, reliable, clean-burning energy at a fair price with exceptional customer service.
